    Ho'oponopono Update

    Monday, March 10, 2008, 02:25 PM [General]

    Ho'oponopono

Ho'oponopono heals both me and that other thing at which I am aiming (either others or a situation of low vibration) simultaneously.  Here's the bit from quantuum physics.  Because there is no space between myself and the thing that is to be healed, the technique focuses on healing that part of me that is causing the infirmity in another or the situation in the world that needs to be healed.  It's so important that I'll repeat it: That part of ME that is causing the infirmity.

It calls for an attitude of taking utter responsibility for everything in one's universe, and then a huge outpouring of love in the direction of that part of oneself that is unhealed, and expressing sorrow and asking forgiveness of the one for whom the healing is aimed.  That's it.

A friend of a friend was diagnosed with cervical cancer.  She became part of my daily meditation, although I do not know her and have never met her.  She returned for tests, at which time the cancer was gone.  It was 'misdiagnosed.'  Did she ever have cancer?  Was I instrumental in the situation at all?  Here's a conundrum of special relativity: It doesn't matter!  Even if my work had no effect, and she never had cancer, I am better for having done this piece of work.  And what if she had cancer and now it's gone?  In my world, that's what happened.

My lil bud Brandon, 5 years old, recently was admitted to Children's Hospital, throwing up and fainting.  I turned to Hooponopono.  Now he's home with his mom, no menengitis, no seizures, but completely well.  Am I taking any credit: No.  Did the Hooponopono effect that?  Who cares; he's well!  And in the act, I love myself a little more than I did previously.

My experiences with this method are merely months old; I started in early February -- but since it became a part of my daily work the results (to me) have been nothing short of phenomenal.  On the lunar eclipse I added a dovetailed component from the Moses Code, which amounted to breathing and utterance of the Name of God.

It is the most empowering Magick that I have ever done.

I don't want to fill pages here, but I could.  Because of relativity, you cannot know this method as an outside observer, so there is only so much that is optimal for me to say.  If you want to know more, email me & I'll share it.   But I have an awareness that it's not for everyone, and that's OK -- but maybe for you?

See Joe Vitale's book solicitation site http://www.zerolimits.info/

For more on Huna magic, I found 'The Secret Science Behind Miracles' by Max Freedom Long, on Amazon.  Also need to recommend "The Moses Code," which dovetails into this work and which I immediately incorporated.  I will be writing all of these techniques and experiences into a book of my own, which will be sold at www.ThewordforGodisI.com.

I want to say that this is a technique of doing rather than merely reading about.  I have learned so much more from the act of doing the work, inspired from my first contact, reprinted above, than any of the books and source material which I have been devouring ravenously since my first contact.
I challenge you to practice Ho'oponopono daily, starting today.
If you want to talk about it more, my email is michaelmirth@spellme.com. . .

    I'm sorry.
    Please forgive me.
    I love you.
    Thank you.

    Michael

    The Code

    Wednesday, March 5, 2008, 12:21 PM [General]

I wrote a portion of this greater work and published it elsewhere, but I am intending to expand it to completion here.

I have an inner code which is a mix of things I have read, Chivalry, Samurai, Christian upbringing, and now, Ho'oponopono.  Many people do not agree with some of its precepts.  It is all the result of striving for balance and awareness of karma.

Precept 1) My word is my bond.  That has a transcendent meaning for me.  I wear an amulet around my neck always, inscribed with 'Abracadabra', which means "As it is spoken, it will be. . ."  This is to remind me of the First Agreement: That my word, being a very important aspect of me, is always honest, always constructive rather than destructive, and expresses what I absolutely will do.  Sleight of hand creates a small deception, for the purpose of entertainment.  I have many small deceptions in my nature, but about anything consequential, I apply this precept, and am incurably honest.

Precept 2) I accept 100% responsibility.  For everything that has happened in my life, I am responsible.  I place no blame on others.  If I am angry, no one has made me angry; I made myself angry by dealing in a negative way with external influences on my life.

Precept 3) As everything that I experience is a thought, and I am responsible, I have power over everything which I perceive in the material world.  Any infirmity is within my power to heal, save those which are the karmic obligation of others to live.  I therefore clean on everything, not giving a thought to results, or whether or not I can affect a certain perceived problem.

Preecept 4) Gratefulness.  There is really only one way to face the universe and all that it presents to you or me, and that is with gratefulness.  After all, I am responsible.  If my lot is less than I had hoped, why didn't I manifest it at a higher order?  Actually,  if you think about it, everything has worked out absolutely perfectly, just as the planets dance in perfect orbit around the sun, and the galaxy swirls in perfect harmony around its center.  How can it possibly be any other way?

    Precept 5) One-ness.

Precept 6) Because of Precept 5, win-win interactions are the only kind that I ever want to have with anyone.  This is not just in business, but in interpersonal interactions as well, in fact, every interaction of life.  If one of us is going to potentially be exploited in the interaction, demeaned, abused or even could leave with a lesser vibration, my commitment is to walk away before that happens.  It's "harm none" taken to the natural extrapolation.

Harm none also extends to oneself, so that I must personally avoid causing myself to be abused, demeaned, or have a lower vibration.  Sometimes, I confess, I am my own worst enemy.

Precept 7) I cannot affect the past -- It has, relative to my consciousness, been written in granite on the Akashic record.  What affect I can exert on the future is governed in this moment, and no other.  There is only ONE time in which to live and that is THIS MOMENT.  My obligation then is to make this moment the ultimate best that it can be, to be present in it, fully awake and alive!  None of us knows the length of his or her contract; "Today is a good day to die."  If I am tending to every moment as I should, then nothing is left undone or unsaid or un-experienced.  I am truly ready.

Precept 8) The Divine speaks to me constantly through a stream of intuitions, which are as valid a way to experience the universe as the lower vibrations of deduction, thought and memories.  If I can quiet the chatter of these three lesser orators, I will hear plainly the voice of God, and follow unfailingly the highest and best path, that will infuse each moment of my life with sacredness. . .

That's it for tonight -- stop back to see the rest as it unfolds, like a lotus. . .

    I'm sorry and I love you: Ho'oponopono

    Thursday, February 14, 2008, 08:54 AM [General]

What follows is the first encounter I had with the amazing Hawaiian word Ho'oponopono, which I am willing to call, "The Second Secret."  If you choose to be open to it, it may transform your life as it has mine. . .

    Sat Jul 22, 2006 HO'OPONOPONO

    By ['the Secret's'] Joe Vitale

"Two years ago, I heard about a therapist in Hawaii who cured a complete ward of criminally insane patients--without ever seeing any of them. The psychologist would study an inmate's chart and then look within himself to see how he created that person's illness. As he improved himself, the patient improved.

"When I first heard this story, I thought it was an urban legend. How could anyone heal anyone else by healing himself? How could even the best self-improvement master cure the criminally insane? It didn't make any sense. It wasn't logical, so I dismissed the story. "However, I heard it again a year later. I heard that the therapist had used a Hawaiian healing process called ho 'oponopono. I had never heard of it, yet I couldn't let it leave my mind. If the story was at all true, I had to know more. I had always understood "total responsibility" to mean that I am responsible for what I think and do. Beyond that, it's out of my hands. I think that most people think of total responsibility that ay. We're responsible for what we do, not what anyone else does--but that's wrong. "The Hawaiian therapist who healed those mentally ill people would teach me an advanced new perspective about total responsibility. His name is Dr. Ihaleakala Hew Len. We probably spent an hour talking on our first phone call. I asked him to tell me the complete story of his work as a therapist. He explained that he worked at Hawaii State Hospital for four years. That ward where they kept the criminally insane was dangerous. Psychologists quit on a monthly basis. The staff called in sick a lot or simply quit. People would walk through that ward with their backs against the wall, afraid of being attacked by patients. It was not a pleasant place to live, work, or visit. "Dr. Len told me that he never saw patients. He agreed to have an office and to review their files. While he looked at those files, he would work on himself. As he worked on himself, patients began to heal. "'After a few months, patients that had to be shackled were being allowed to walk freely,' he told me. 'Others who had to be heavily medicated were getting off their medications. And those who had no chance of ever being released were being freed.' I was in awe. 'Not only that,' he went on, 'but the staff began to enjoy coming to work. Absenteeism and turnover disappeared. We ended up with more staff than we needed because patients were being released, and all the staff was showing up to work. Today, that ward is closed.' "This is where I had to ask the million dollar question: 'What were you doing within yourself that caused those people to change?'

"'I was simply healing the part of me that created them,' he said. I didn't understand. Dr. Len explained that total responsibility for your life means that everything in your life- simply because it is in your life--is your responsibility. In a literal sense the entire world is your creation. "Whew. This is tough to swallow. Being responsible for what I say or do is one thing. Being responsible for what everyone in my life says or does is quite another. Yet, the truth is this: if you take complete responsibility for your life, then everything you see, hear, taste, touch, or in any way experience is your responsibility because it is in your life. This means that terrorist activity, the president, the economy or anything you experience and don't like--is up for you to heal. They don't exist, in a manner of speaking, except as projections from inside you. The problem isn't with them, it's with you, and to change them, you have to change you. "I know this is tough to grasp, let alone accept or actually live. Blame is far easier than total responsibility, but as I spoke with Dr. Len, I began to realize that healing for him and in ho 'oponopono means loving yourself.

"If you want to improve your life, you have to heal your life. If you want to cure anyone, even a mentally ill criminal you do it by healing you. "I asked Dr. Len how he went about healing himself. What was he doing, exactly, when he looked at those patients' files? "'I just kept saying, 'I'm sorry' and 'I love you' over and over again,' he explained. "That's it? "That's it. "Turns out that loving yourself is the greatest way to improve yourself, and as you improve yourself, you improve your world. "Let me give you a quick example of how this works: one day, someone sent me an email that upset me. In the past I would have handled it by working on my emotional hot buttons or by trying to reason with the person who sent the nasty message. "This time, I decided to try Dr. Len's method. I kept silently saying, 'I'm sorry' and 'I love you,' I didn't say it to anyone in particular. I was simply evoking the spirit of love to heal within me what was creating the outer circumstance. "Within an hour I got an e-mail from the same person. He apologized for his previous message. Keep in mind that I didn't take any outward action to get that apology. I didn't even write him back. Yet, by saying 'I love you,' I somehow healed within me what was creating him. "I later attended a ho 'oponopono workshop run by Dr. Len. He's now 70 years old, considered a grandfatherly shaman, and is somewhat reclusive.

He praised my book, The Attractor Factor. He told me that as I improve myself, my book's vibration will raise, and everyone will feel it when they read it. In short, as I improve, my readers will improve. "'What about the books that are already sold and out there?' I asked. "'They aren't out there,' he explained, once again blowing my mind with his mystic wisdom. 'They are still in you.' In short, there is no out there. It would take a whole book to explain this advanced technique with the depth it deserves. "Suffice It to say that whenever you want to improve anything in your life, there's only one place to look: inside you. When you look, do it with love."
